God must have known there would be

times we'd need a word of cheer,

Someone to praise a triumph

or brush away a tear.

He must have known we'd need to share

the joy of "little things"

In order to appreciate

the happiness life brings.

I think He knew our troubled hearts

would sometimes throb with pain,

At trials and misfortunes,

or goals we can't attain.

He knew we'd need the comfort

of an understanding heart

To give us strength and courage

to make a fresh, new start.

He knew we'd need companionship,

unselfish... . lasting.... true,

And so God answered

the heart's great need

with Cherished Friend.... like you!

You and Me.

Your support have given me reprieve.

And those feelings of togetherness, I loved to have.

Listen to me, you are all my smile.

Stay close to me, if it happens i will always survive.

I love the way you are and will share all things with you.

Never would like to apart with you.

It's true that you are my life, would like to be with you.

Who is perfect for me

who listens to all my problems

No matter how dumb they may be

who tells me to be myself

And that I should never change

who was shy on the phone

But would still call

who knew just how I felt

And how happy I could be

who listens to me patiently

But never judges what I do or say

I could tell all my dreams

My friend never goes and tells
