God must have known there would be

times we'd need a word of cheer,

Someone to praise a triumph

or brush away a tear.

He must have known we'd need to share

the joy of "little things"

In order to appreciate

the happiness life brings.

I think He knew our troubled hearts

would sometimes throb with pain,

At trials and misfortunes,

or goals we can't attain.

He knew we'd need the comfort

of an understanding heart

To give us strength and courage

to make a fresh, new start.

He knew we'd need companionship,

unselfish... . lasting.... true,

And so God answered

the heart's great need

with Cherished Friend.... like you!

You and Me.

Your support have given me reprieve.

And those feelings of togetherness, I loved to have.

Listen to me, you are all my smile.

Stay close to me, if it happens i will always survive.

I love the way you are and will share all things with you.

Never would like to apart with you.

It's true that you are my life, would like to be with you.

My heart-beats get louder when i miss you..

You are the only one to whom I can say anything.

Your unique and loving appearances showered me blessing.

I never wanna lose you in my life, because you are close to my heart.

Today, it makes me feel I exists this world for these reason as life's best art.

For You.

I have a friend

Who is perfect for me

who listens to all my problems

No matter how dumb they may be

who tells me to be myself

And that I should never change

who was shy on the phone

But would still call

who knew just how I felt

And how happy I could be

who listens to me patiently

But never judges what I do or say

And never went away

I could tell all my dreams

My friend never goes and tells

keeps it all bottled up inside

And doesn't spread it like a bee

I am thankful for that friend of mine

Our friendship will never end

And that is why i call the person

my " best friend "

Should Recycling Be Mandatory?

Recycling is an easy habit to establish, and significantly reduces what goes into the garbage can each week. In my region, paper including corrugated cardboard, glass, plastics labeled 1 or 2, and metals go into a blue bin that’s picked up curbside each week at the same time trash is picked up.
Our area has an effective recycling program that has won national recognition and is a visible and respected entity in the community. Regular newsletters mailed to all residents update us on new items that can go into recycling, such as used pizza boxes, batteries placed in a special yellow plastic zip lock bag, and now aseptic packaging.
The program also establishes computer and television drop-off days at least once a quarter to dispose of these items, and also paint disposal days, so if you have old paint you wish to get rid of, they’ll accept the cans. The resulting mixes (both latex and oils separately) are then used in community projects around the area when painting is required (everything always seems to come out a usable grey shade).
The habit of recycling has become so ingrained in my family that when we vacation in areas where no recycling programs exist, we sort and bring home our paper, glass, plastic and metals to recycle at home.
Realizing that recycling can only occur if the recycled materials have market value, we make it a point to seek out and buy products that use recycled materials.
Some may say it’s inconvenient, but we feel good about recycling and realize that bit by bit, we’re altering the waste stream and changing the world for the better. According to one environmentalist “Recycling is one of the three Rs of environmental preservation--reduce, reuse, and recycle--then why is recycling not mandatory?”
At last, I want to say recycling should be mandatory because recycling is of three things that are reducing, reusing and recycling.

How to Succeed in Life?

Everyone wants to be good and have a desire to succeed in life. To be succeeding one, you should have passion and humble to chase the things coming up to you. Would you agree that today most of us have the opportunities and the potential? But the things are that how you perceive the opportunities and potential. Always mind that "Success.... is a result, not a goal" because Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm. Might be you have listen story of frog, always jump for 7-8 times to go next field and at last succeed to jump to next field.

The better tips are your conscience is the one telling you to stop wasting your time, to do something with your life, and to do your best to achieve a goal. I mean take a things as your interest to set up your career, focus on right solution, Take a collective action, monitor and adjust the things around and maintain momentum. You have to listen to your conscience’s call because if you don’t, it is nobody’s loss but your own. If you analyze this expression, it does make sense. But if you look at it in a deeper dimension, there is a strong message being delivered here a message that has relevance to success in life. It is like a wakeup call to the reality of life.

The most admiral things are to avoid the bad things from your way and keep in processing to appreciate good things on your way. Don’t waste your time and manage schedule accordingly. Do the stuffs as your interest and what really you want to do things for your careers and future.

Moving Into New City

I grew up in a small town named Kathmandu, population roughly 2.5 million. Living in Kathmandu was fun growing up because everyone knew each other. I grew up on a farm on the edge of town beside my grandparents so I always had family around me. Kathmandu was safe for me because I always had my own little bubble and never had to step out of my comfort zone, but coming to college definitely made me pop that bubble. When I first arrived at Lincoln University, Oakland, CA, I was very afraid to leave my home town and my comfort zone; however these new experiences were an invaluable tool to prepare me for the transition to main campus. At first time in new city, my heart was pounding. I was so thirsty yet I had just drunk a bottle of Soda but my mouth was as dry as it’s ever been. As I got drop from my friend’s car from airport to apartment, I looked around and saw people moving things into as they like, I was shocked at how many people were walking around and getting things freely as they perceive. I looked across and saw people in their own way. So, free life they had and no wonder what they really do? And I think it’s a USA. I was new at that time and each and everything were new and I feel the things amazing and it made things more interesting. Now, I am inclining closer towards new city. The city is beautiful and clean and people are so good. The best part I like is humanity and multi-cultural and multi-linguistic country. I think staying here in California will be an memorable experience to me and hope I will generate ideas and get better opportunity to pursue my career after my graduation.
Moving into California from Nepal is an increasing desire, because of the various forms of entertainment, myriad of transportation, and the never-ending excitement typical of such a fast-paced lifestyle.

Comparing myself to the other students I interviewed

People of the world all have different personalities, but some are similar in nature. Not only do your actions reveal a lot about you, but your friends reveal just as much. I know that different aspects of my personality are more dominant with certain people. All of my new friends at Lincoln University, are very different from each other, although all have sparkling personalities.

Most of them are my own country, Nepal. They have been in USA just around one month. All live in Bay area. I have tried myself to compare with them. Like as, I am interested in music though all are inclined towards music. Talking to their aim, Most of friends are concerning to make a clear edge to make a mark in the world of Business Administration and Management. These things are similar that i have found.

According some of my frens answers, I found different answer in their interests, favorite pastime and Embrassing moments. I have totally different choice to them.

Atlast, It is totally a new experience to have a new friends and most admiral things is most of them are similar in many context though a little things are difference than me. Hope all of freinds will be happy in sharing cultures, experience and lifestyle throughout our semester.
